Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet. What you will find here is a compilation of notes I’ve gathered in my never-ending quest to quench my thirst for knowledge. Typically my learning process has been to simply read and try to retain information within my brain - unfortunately this doesn’t always work as other information comes in and the backlog of knowledge gets pushed aside.

Who am I?

My name is Jay, and I’m a cybersecurity engineer by day and obsessive researcher by night. I have immense passion for travel and all genres of music; with an interest in anything that is shiny and new.

This is a living and breathing vault. It will more than likely always continue to get updated and refined as time goes on. I’m writing here for myself, but if my research can be of help or slightly entertaining for you - I’m all for it! I plan on publishing all my notes in an effort to keep me on track and dedicated to note taking.

I’m relatively new to Obsidian - and most apps like it. I started with Notion and gave that a whirl for a couple of months; but I felt like I got in a cycle of constantly trying to organize instead of write and take notes. Luckily with Obsidian, I believe I’ve found a permanent home to collect my thoughts. This is mostly an exercise for me to keep track of information I find useful to come back to and refresh with as time goes on.

So what now?
